I would like to film my choir, how should I do it??

We are so happy you would like to take part in this huge event and film your choir. Feel free to get creative and do this in any way you want!

Here are some helpful guidelines for you:

Can I film it on my phone?

Yes of course! Camera phones make great quality video! Here are some tips:

• Make sure you have good light i.e. the light is bright enough on people’s faces so that you can see their features.

• Film HORIZONTALLY! We might be using your footage in our compilation video.
  

• Check your footage (including sound) straight away after filming to check that everything was captured correctly.

• Ask a friend or family member to come along and film your choir, to make sure everybody is in the video.

What should we film?

• The choir singing “What A Wonderful World”

• A few ‘behind the scenes’ clips

• Individual choir members talking about what “What a Wonderful World” means to them / how we need urgent government action to save our beautiful planet.

Where should we share?

• Please share on all of your social media and your website

• Please ask all your members to also share

• Please encourage your local news and cultural media to also share your film

• Share using the hashtags #singthechange #wonderfulworld #nomusiconadeadplanet

What shouldn’t we film and share for this project?

• Other songs

• Unrelated footage

• Offensive material!
